Gregory Stocks visits the BRIDGE Frebruary 27th

On February 27th Gregory Stocks will be gracing us with his presence. All are welcome. 6:30pm.

Stocks’ work has been shown and collected in galleries throughout the West and Southwest. He’s won numerous awards and competitions. And even though his creativity has found its strongest force in his artwork, he likens the process to music. “Mywork is an effort to create images that serve as emotional detours from the noise and confusion of the surrounding world. I find the process of painting to be similar to that of writing a song. There is a basic structure or rhythm to the work. The melody comes into play in the form of color, brushwork and the expressive possibilities of process.”

I had hoped that we could get a sneak peak at the Dan Steinhilber exhibit at BYU MOA for Art analysis this tues. But the exhibit wasn’t quite finished. Jeff Lambson extended a special invitation to the Bridge to attend a soft opening on Fri. the 5th. We will have art analysis Fri. at 6 pm for all those who would like to attend.
